The plant joined in DongfengMotor Group in 1984.Shaoguan Hongda Gear Co.,Ltd. came into being in 1998 underan enterprise restructuring with 66.96% shares held by Guangdong Shaoneng GroupCo., Ltd, (Stock Code 000601).
The company has now780 employees including over 180 various professional technical personnel. Themajor products of the company are traffic machinery components and assemblies(vehicle transmission and components,clutch components), constructioncomponents and assemblies (gear, ring gear and other transmission parts,industrial reducer, bevel gears and electrical forklift real axles etc.),ecological plant fiber tableware forming equipment and precision forging, etc.The company owns more than 1300 sets of all kinds of advanced manufacturing andinspection equipment including heat treatment lines, gear machining machines,machining centers, CNC lathes, 3-coordinate measuring machines, gear inspectionmachines, CNC gear shaving machines, edge grinders and high-frequency inductionhardening machines respectively imported from United States,France,Switzerland,Italy, Germany, Canada and Japan, etc.
As a National high-tech enterprise, the company owns 37 valid inventionpatents and utility model patents, 6 high-tech product certificates ofGuangdong Province. Adhering to the long-term combination of independentinnovation and industry-university-research, the company has maintained stableand fruitful cooperative relations with many universities and researchinstitutions such as South China University of Technology, Wuhan University ofTechnology, Guangdong University of Technology and Northwestern PolytechnicalUniversity,etc. In recent years, the company has developed strategiccooperation with customers aiming at the new energy gearbox market, and hassuccessively launched a variety of gearbox product assemblies which have beenapplied in the major OEMs such as Sinotruck, Foton and Beiben.
